Jake Contorno is an accomplished executive management professional with over 20 years of experience in the transportation, trucking, and logistics industries. As the Business Development Manager at RH Safety, Jake brings a wealth of expertise in strategic planning, operations management, and team leadership, helping companies optimize their safety practices and operational efficiency.

Jake’s career in transportation began in 2004 as the Logistics Manager for a steel company in Birmingham, Alabama, where he honed his skills in supply chain management and logistics optimization. Over the next decade, Jake transitioned to a Birmingham-based trucking company, where he held a variety of leadership roles. He began as the Operations Manager and quickly rose through the ranks, becoming the Director of Operations in 2017 and then the Vice President of Operations in 2019. In these positions, he was instrumental in scaling operations and enhancing the efficiency of the company’s transportation network.

In 2020, Jake transitioned into the role of General Manager for a new independent contractor division within the company. His leadership contributed to the division’s successful launch and rapid growth. In 2021, Jake was promoted to Chief Operating Officer where he oversaw all operational aspects of the companies. During his tenure as COO, Jake implemented tactical and strategic initiatives that drove significant improvements in profitability, safety, and customer satisfaction.
